May is National Mental Health Month. I thought it a great time to check in with you to inquire how you are doing. So . . . How are you doing?
No doubt you are going through many changes. Change is an interesting phenomenon because the only constant in life is change. It is paradoxical yet true.
In addition to the many changes you are experiencing, there are the associated emotions that occur in your psyche. On Monday, in this week’s episode of Facebook Live, I explained what occurs when an emotion is experienced in your brain and how you can recognize what is happening. More importantly I gave tips on how to take charge of your emotions for your sake and the sake of your health.
Did you know that up to 90% of your decisions are influenced by your emotions? Yikes! They can make or break your health and frankly everything in your life.
Important fact: Emotions were never designed to think or make decisions.
Consistent wrong health decisions based on wrong information, emotional responses due to stress, or other things can cause devastating diseases. I don’t want that to happen to you.

Emotions make us human. They are not bad in of themselves. They are designed to express how we feel. Our thinking is designed to be in control of and guide the expression our emotions. BIG PROBLEMS may occur when they are allowed to be in charge of our decision making. You have the power to analyze and choose! Choose wisely!
